The Chair in Management by Missions and Corporate Purpose, created in 2012 by the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) together with the DPMC Foundation and several partner companies, aims to research and promote person-centered, purpose-driven management models.

This approach is illustrated by the Silver Triangle, a framework derived from the Holistic Conceptualisation of Mission, and unfolds across three dimensions:

Authenticity (head–heart)

purpose is known, shared, and aligned with people’s values.

Coherence (head–hands)

The declared purpose is consistently reflected in
decisions and day-to-day actions.

Integrity (heart–hands)

Actions stem from values, deep convictions, and a
genuine sense of contribution.

“This chair aims to be a reference centre on management by missions across the
investigation and transmission of knowledge”
