CHAIR MANAGEMENT BY MISSIONS
Management by Missions is a model of management and organization based on people, their motivations and the sense of transcendence of their actions. The Chair of Management by Missions and Corporate Purpose was created in 2012 as an initiative of the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences thanks to the collaboration of the DPMC Foundation together with a group of companies from different sectors.
The PURPOSE 3D model integrates the various research projects carried out by the chair since 2012. This model establishes the conceptualization of Purpose/Mission in three dimensions (2012): knowledge, motivation and action under the graphic representation of head, heart and hands (2017). In turn, it reflects the consistency relationships between the dimensions (2018): authenticity, coherence and integrity, and the key processes for their development (2019): internalization, implementation and integration.
